| Bolts for Safety Guards
Bolts are employed in conjunction with safety switches so as
to protect the operator from hazardous machine movements. By using
an EUCHNER bolt, an additional door handle is no longer required.
Using the bolt will always ensure that when closing the safety
guard the actuator is properly inserted in the safety switch.
The switch bracket of the bolt is designed so that it simultaneously
provides mechanical protection for the switch. The available assembly
holes permit easy and fast fitment of the bolts to the safety
guards. |

| Advantages
- Bolts from a mechanical locking mechanism, i.e. the monitoring
circuit cannot be actuated by unintentional opening of a hinged
door.
- Prevent the inadvertent machine shutdown
- The actuator is accurately guided into the actuation head
of the safety switch. Thus ensuring that the actuator is correctly
inserted in the head, even if the door is incorrectly adjusted.
- If the safety door is shaken, the force is transmitted to
the mechanically strong bolt and not to the safety switch.
- Safety switch and actuator are thereby protected against damage
- Standard aluminium profiles are frequently used for safety
guards. Here in particular, fitting the bolts is a simple task.
- Optimum adaptation of the bolts to the market standard
- In the past, bolts for safety guards were frequently produced
at great expense in the companies’ own machine shops.
Today by contrast, standard solutions are prefered for economic
reasons, especially in the automobile industry. EUCHNER has
responded to current customer demands with the introduction
of the bolts for safety guards.
